Check out our Environmental Health Equity Action Plan (EHEAP) for Soil Lead!

OCEJ Logo Color.png

Over the past year, we have been hosting focus groups around soil lead to hear residents' thoughts and opinions on the current status of lead in the soil in Santa Ana, as well as the recommendations/strategies they would like to see implemented! With over 30 participants, we have compiled their thoughts and summarized it into this document, called the Environmental Health Equity Action Plan for Soil Lead (the EHEAP).

The document is available to view in both English and Spanish.

Orange County Environmental Justice

Who we are:

Formed in 2016, Orange County Environmental Justice Educational Fund (OCEJ) is a 501(c)3 multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environmental justice organization. We are developing grassroots leadership and advancing an environmental justice agenda within the ancestral homelands of the Acjachemen and Tongva Nations, now known as Orange County, California. Our mission is to fight for environmental justice by mobilizing and empowering marginalized community members.

Defined as the disproportionate distribution of environmental challenges to lower income Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) communities.
